Jesus is Our Repentance Part 2 Daily Devotion of Gods Rest

Jesus is Our Repentance Part 2 Daily Devotion of Gods Rest Label-Gods Rest Daily Devotion James 5:14-16 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Jesus is Our Repentance Part 2 Daily Devotion of Gods Rest

James 5:14-16 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

In our last time together, in part 1, I shared how Jesus is our Repentance from the view point of the lost art of the finished works of the cross. A disciple of God's Blood Covenant of Rest & Righteousness has died with Christ, risen with Christ, ascended with Christ. (Romans 6, Col. 3, 2 Cor. 5:17-19) and has changed their way of living. Jesus became their "New Way of Living" because of the Blood Covenant and for that reason, "Jesus is Our Repentance."  (To read more, please read part 1.)

So, in today's time together let us take a look together at a few more Scriptures about "Anointing of Oil and Confession your faults to one another." When interpreting Scripture we must always ask: To whom is this being spoken to? What is the context being said? What is the custom of the Scriptures?

First, we see the instruction, "Call for the elders of the church."  It is custom in the Levitical law that an elder was a Priest, and a Priest was an elder.  If anyone was sick they were to go to the Priest and the Priest were trained in natural health in herbs and food.  You can read these Scriptures from the Book of Leviticus 13 through Leviticus 19.  This law was not done away with, and Modern Day elders should be able to diagnose the sick with natural remedies as it was in the Book of Leviticus.   Sister Elizabeth is a good example of this in this part of God's Loving Family.   The church would go to the church for healing, by getting the diagnosis from the elders first.  In today's Modern Church most go to the doctors.  Now, don't get me wrong Luke the disciple was a Physician, so these are gifts from God.

Secondly, "The Anointing Oil" is used among the church in these Scriptures.  This gives us a key to understanding the whole section.  Anointing Oil is used in the Old Testament as a symbol of the Holy Spirit as an outward deposit of righteousness because there was no indwelling Holy Spirit in the people or the Priest. Therefore, it is a wise interpretation to say that "Those who live outside of the Blood Covenant of Life without the Baptism of the Holy Spirit" do not yet know how to live a Life of Blood Covenant and Rest. Therefore, a Body Ministry is needed to tutor in healing and the ability to carry one another's burdens in "The prayer of faith" rather than living Life in the Faith of God. (His works: God the Father, God the Holy Spirit, God the Son." )

I remember the late Charles Hunter speaking at a convention on the baptism of the Holy Spirit and his wife Frances Hunter was sitting in the front pew.  As Charles was speaking Frances saw Jesus come up to the pulpit and had a conversation with Frances.  Only Frances could hear and see Jesus.  Jesus said to Frances, "Do you see that bottle of oil over there?"  Frances said, "Yes Lord."  Jesus said, "The bottle of oil is used for those that do not have the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, but what Charles is speaking about is the real Oil." This conversation made total sense to me and helped me understand that it is important to be able to minister to all people, where they are.  Not everyone understands Blood Covenant.  Not everyone has learned to walk in the lost art of the finished works of the cross.  The Apostles in the Book of Acts was filled with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and for that reason they had the real Oil, which was the Holy Spirit Indwelling.  It was there that in that Oil Fullness indwells the God-Head--who is the Oil.

In closing, "Someone who constantly speaks about sin and turning from sin has not yet come to the place of Rest in Blood Covenant."  A disciple of God's Blood Covenant grows daily in learning to draw from God's Rest rather than trying to achieve God's Rest.  A disciple of God's Blood Covenant grows daily by learning to live a Life of yieldedness in God's Rest through Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit.  When you are born again, you have fully moved into the God-Head and it is there you draw from them as your "Oil" in all things that pertain to Life (Blood Covenant) and God-Likeness. (God's Works which is now our faith to live out of.)

It is these same people, who use the bottle of oil, who have not yet heard the lost art of the finished works of the cross in the Ministry and Word of Reconciliation to walk in Sonship and Ambassadorship of the Kingdom.  Therefore, we can be all things to all people and in the spirit of meekness lift one another up to run the race that is set before them in Life.

It's not a place you have to step into.  It's not a place you need to ascend to.  It's not a place you strive to enter into.  It's not a chant you have to say to get full of the presence of God.  It is a place you have already been positioned in and that position will train you in God's Rest. Now that is good news!

Confession: Father, in the name of Jesus I give You thanks that Jesus is my repentance.  Through Him You brought me to live in You.  Through Him You caused me to be seated over every challenge in life.  Through Him you made a Blood Covenant with me that You made me clean.  I choose to simply stand on this a hundred times a day if need be that Jesus is my repentance because You already knew I could not change in my own ways.  Amen.

Lay Hold of Eternal Life Daily Devotion of Gods Rest

Lay Hold of Eternal Life Daily Devotion of Gods Rest

~~Lay Hold on Eternal Life~~
1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
Laying hold of Eternal Life is learning to draw from Life which is only found in Blood Covenant. It is in Blood Covenant you are continually quickened into Life, from God's Works (Faith) to more of Gods Works (Faith) that is found in Life through Blood Covenant. It is living a Life as One in Blood Covenant that you find your place of calling.
The Blood releases Life to your path. The Blood selects what has been given to you from the beginning of time from your Heavenly Father and causes your destiny to be revealed. The Blood cuts away what does not belong and propels you continually in your path. That is good news!
Father, today in Jesus name I acknowledge in my heart that I am One with the fullness of who You are. I choose to rest and draw from Your Life in Blood Covenant in every area of Life today. I lay hold of eternal Life in Blood Covenant today. Amen.
Thank you for being part of God's Loving Family in these pages, too!

Jesus is Our Repentance Daily Devotion of Gods Rest

Jesus is Our Repentance Daily Devotion of Gods Rest Label-Gods Rest Daily Devotional Matthew 5:30 If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you: for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
Jesus is Our Repentance Daily Devotion of Gods Rest

Matthew 5:30 If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from  you: for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

How do you help a soul that is in constant defeat of besetting sin? How do you help a soul that is in constant need of never walking in the victory that they were purchased and redeemed to walk in? Jesus said, "Cut it off!"  Yet, is this what Jesus really meant? Some would say, "Follow the Bible to the dot and tittle."  Others would say, "Count the cost before you act out what you desire from darkness."  Yet, I would like to challenge the weak and broken to a thought, "Jesus is our Repentance."

This is the chapter where Jesus said, "Are you poor in spirit?  I will give you the kingdom." He went on to say, " Are you deeply mournful? You can be comforted.  Do you hunger and thirst for what is right and you cannot walk in it?  You shall be filled."  Imagine Jesus also said, "Because you show mercy to others, in your state of deep need to overcome I will show you mercy as well." (Matthew 5)

To understand repentance is to understand that "Jesus is our Repentance."  In the New Birth you have died with Jesus, you have risen with Jesus and you have been made one with the Father.  It is there, through the Blood Covenant, that you are now positioned to live a Life of Rest with God through Jesus.  Jesus is your turn around and make it right position.  Jesus is your change of thought--because you couldn't change your ways or thoughts yourself.  Jesus not only gave you a new way to walk in but Jesus took you through change that you could not change yourself.

What an empty Gospel is preached to the soul that is weary if they have never heard, "You cannot change on your own.  The only deliverance you need-once and for all, is to understand that what you are facing, and what has tried to dominion over you is the lack of understanding that you are One with God through Jesus, by the Holy Spirit.  You have passed into newness of Life and the old is done is away with.

All you have to do is simply acknowledge in your heart, acknowledge in your thoughts, acknowledge in your body that "Jesus already walked you through the path of change of heart, change of thoughts (He promised to give you new thoughts), change of body and He is now your repentance of change."  As you simply acknowledge that because of the Blood of Jesus you now live in Blood Covenant and your past has been utterly destroyed. "What shall we say then?" someone might ask.  That is when you tell yourself, "I have already passed over.  I have already been raised out of this.  I have already been positioned to rest with God in the fullness of who He is, and I am seated in Victory through Christ."  So the next time someone quotes this Scripture at you, "Cut it off" tell them, "It is already cut off through the work of Blood Covenant of the cross and I now choose to rest in the finished works of the cross."

Amen.

Inward Rest is Power Daily Devotion of Gods Rest

~Be Alert Physically (On Foot)~~ ~~Be Alert Mentally (In Courage)~~ Job 17:9 The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.

Inward Rest is Power Daily Devotion of Gods Rest

~Be Alert Physically (On Foot)~
Job 17:9 The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.
When we acknowledge that we are positioned in righteousness, through the lost art of the finished works of the cross, it is there we are eternally in training to live in God's Rest.

Inward Rest is power. Inward Rest is strength. Inward Rest establishes you in every area of your life because all that you draw from, and all that you reach for is being One in Blood Covenant and possessing all that God is and has for you. Therefore, run! Therefore, stay focused! Blood Covenant will quicken you to have a pure heart continually to that God is for you, not against you.

God Has Possessed Me First Daily Devotion of Gods Rest

God Has Possessed Me First Daily Devotion of Gods Rest I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. Philippians 3:12 (NLT) Label-Gods Rest Daily Devotional

God Has Possessed Me First Daily Devotion of Gods Rest

I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me.  Philippians 3:12 (NLT)

Label-Gods Rest Daily Devotional

There are times in our lives where we feel as though we are overwhelmed by life's circumstances and without hope.  It is in these times that we can instantly begin to hear thoughts that speak to us, "You are no good. You are going to fail.  Why isn't anything working out for me?  Why am I always the one that goes through this and everyone else seems to do better?" I am sure you can think of times like these in your life, where thoughts like these came so fast you felt like you were in a downward spiral.  There is good news for times like these and that is why I wanted to share this Scripture with you today.

Did you know that "Jesus Christ already took hold you first and He will never let you go?"  Before you even knew what situation you were walking into, or what kind of thoughts the enemy wanted to throw against your thoughts, "Jesus already has you held so tight, He is waiting for you to rest with Him." He is there with you as one in the place you are, in the time you are, and in where you have been and where you are going.  Here is there because He is already joined to you as One. Not only that but He brought someone else with Him to where you are.

When we read the word "Christ" this word means He is Anointed to overtake and overcome any situation for you on your behalf, as you rest with Him as One.  So, not only does Christ mean Anointed but we must ask ourselves what is Jesus Anointed with?  See, the word Christ also represents the idea of the "Fullness of who God is, is with Him and you."  Christ means: God the Father, God the Holy Spirit, God the Son (Jesus) with you, who has already possessed you first.  For that reason you can rest with who He is because God is with you-as Father; the Holy Spirit is with you--as your Comforter, Helper, Guide, Standby, Advocate, Judge, Intercessor, Spirit of Truth and more.

So understanding who has possessed you first is learning to understand that you have already been given the victory and it is in times like that you must "Press On." The fullness of who God is with you to take over your situation and make a way where there seems to be no way. Before you know it, those thoughts that once bombarded you are no longer there because you realize, "It is impossible to possess all who God is in your situation but it is fully possible for the God-Head to possess all of you within a moment of time and cause you to be victorious, through Christ Jesus."  You have already been possessed.  That is good news!

Confession:

Father, in the name of Jesus I give You thanks and I cast my cares upon You-one by one.  I thank You that You have already possessed me; laid hold of me; taken hold of me; and I choose as an act of my will to simply Rest as One in the fullness of who You are through Jesus.  Amen.

The Blood Covenant of Rest and Righteousness Lesson 2 The Abrahamic Covenant P1

The Blood Covenant of Rest and Righteousness Lesson 2 The Abrahamic Covenant Label-Blood Covenant of Gods Rest Purpose of this teaching: The purpose of this teaching is share, in part, the covenant that God made with Abraham. 1. What is the Covenant God made with Abraham? 2. How to walk in the Covenant that God made with Abraham. What Blood Covenant is Not (A Biblical View)

The Blood Covenant of Rest and Righteousness Lesson 2 The Abrahamic Covenant P1

Purpose of this teaching:

The purpose of this teaching is share, in part, the Blood Covenant that God made with Abraham.

1. What is the Blood Covenant God made with Abraham?
2. What are the Benefits of walking in Blood Covenant?

What Was the Covenant God Made With Abraham?

Genesis 17 :1-14

And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.

Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. And God said unto Abraham,

Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.

This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.

And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed. He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.

And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.
