I Will Watch to See What He Will Say Unto Me and What I Shall Answer Habakkuk 2 Verse 1-Part 1

I Will Watch to See What He Will Say Unto Me and What I Shall Answer Habakkuk 2:1 -Part 1

Label: Seer Daily Devotions

"There was a longing in the life of the Prophet Habakkuk to be in a place to see in the Kingdom, and wait upon the LORD God to answer what to say."

Such a longing is in every heart of a disciple that desires to see into the kingdom, and hear what to say.  Every vision from God is His faith at work.  Every word that is spoken to a disciple is God's faith and work at work in the heart and life of a disciple.

I am reminded of the time in the Life of the earthly ministry of Jesus that Satan came to Jesus in the wilderness and said, "If you are God's Son, tell this stone to turn into bread."  (Matt. 4:3, Luke 4:3)  Yet, there is like temptation from Satan to every disciple to "Speak something --just to be speaking and say they saw something just to say they had a vision."  At the same time, I am reminded when Peter was walking with Jesus having a conversation and as they were walking Peter saw John.  When Peter saw John he turned and said, "Lord, what about him?"  Jesus answered and said, "If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?  You must follow me."  (John 21:21)

These sayings are true to the Prophet Habakkuk.  He was trained to see what the LORD God would say, alone.  He was trained to hear what the LORD God would say alone.  While this is true in the Life of the Prophet's in the Old Testament, it is true in the Life of the Remnant Seer Disciple. Every Seer Disciple must learn to "Be set, to watch and see and be set to hear what to answer." (Habakkuk 2:1)

At the same time, "We must ask ourselves what was Habakkuk waiting to see and hear?"  The Prophet Habakkuk was waiting to see "How his prayer was going to be answered." This is a key to learn to keep the development of the Secret Place simple.   Habakkuk  did not stand at his watch with no agenda when he was at his tower.  For that reason, this is a simple key for everyone to have, "When you prepare to set aside a time to watch and see--always go with the desire to see how the LORD will answer your request through listening and seeing."

For this reason we read in the opening of the verse, "I will stand upon my watch." Here, the word stand is to "Present yourself."

  1. When you prepare to look for a vision all you have to do is simply present yourself unto the LORD.  Presenting yourself is understanding your position of "Righteousness and Rest."  We have been studying this topic for almost two years, but it is from the viewpoint of being ONE with GOD: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit (Greek Word-Theos in the New Testament) that they are your Tower you see, listen, you watch from inside.
  2. When you prepare to look for vision another simple key to understand that as you "Stand upon your watch" to stand not only means to present yourself but also "To minister to the King and confide in." Taking time to minister to the LORD is vital because without Him we are nothing.  Yet, at the same time it is vital because every Seer Disciple must learn to confide in the LORD concerning every area of their lives.  This might sound simple but Jesus is the DOOR to every vision waiting to be seen, waiting to be heard, from the Father.
  3. As well, when Habakkuk was "Standing at his watch" every Seer Disciple can learn another simple key to apply to seeing visions and hearing the instruction of the vision on how what to say and how to answer.  This simple key is "The Seer Disciple" must learn to endure and wait for the vision.

Waiting is a lost Art of the Seer Disciple. Here, the Prophet Habakkuk gives the example of what it means to "Wait for the LORD to reveal and speak" by honoring the LORD by waiting for His response. This can be very difficult for a Seer Disciple.  I know this statement has been heard many times throughout our lives but this simple key is vital.

When I first had the desire to see in the spirit I waited for almost nine months.  At the time I had no body to teach me as all I had was the Word of God to learn by, and to study.  I went into the Word of God and studied who had visions and what they prayed to receive visions.  At the same time I studied how visions were given. I was looking for an instruction in order to put to practice how to see in the spirit.

Finally, after nine months I was visiting a local church and communion was being given out.  As I was eating bread in remembrance of the LORD my eyes were opened and I saw the LORD as Shepherd.  He was dressed in a beautiful red robe with a Shepherds Staff and a purple/blue prayer shawl around His shoulders.  As I was engaging in this vision the deacon of the church touched my shoulder and began to speak to me during communion by handing me a "New Comers Tithe Packet" for me to give my Tithe. I tell you, "I wanted to smack the man!"  He caused me to come out of the vision that I had so longed for and waited for almost nine months to see.  Needless to say I was fully irritated at the moment and I told the man he was out of order, that this was a time of communion. (Just wanted to keep it real. lol)

However, this experience was back in September '97 and many years ago and I continued to rely on Word of God and study more on the topic of "Seeing in the Spirit." Through those times of learning I wrote a book on seeing in the Spirit and I still have it in it's original Microsoft Word 2000 software .doc file with pictures. Those early years of seeing for me where years of instruction.  These days you can read books on the topic and learn from others their experiences---however, "The experiences that you have been chosen and destined to walk in will come from your private times of waiting and watching, and hearing and walking in."

"Habakkuk taught us that no matter what you go through--a Seer Disciple must learn to rely fully upon the LORD to see and hear no matter how long it takes for the answer to come, on any situation."

Confession:

Father, in the name of Jesus thank You for Your Word today.  Thank You for giving me the desire to grow in my Secret Place through hearing and seeing Your voice at work in my life.  Your Voice is Your faith.  Your Voice is Your works at work in me.  Open my eyes in the Light of Your Righteousness even more as I simply present myself to You to watch, see, listen concerning areas of need I have written in my journal and those areas You have given to me for instruction.  In Jesus name. Amen.

The Ark of the Covenant Joshua Chapter 1 My Vision of Jesus and the Ark of the Covenant

My vision of the Ark of the Covenant

The Ark of the Covenant Joshua Chapter 1 My Vision of Jesus and the Ark of the Covenant

Hello everyone,

What a blessing it is to be here with you today, "Let's go ahead and open up in prayer." (Hello Melony, good to see you.)

Opening Prayer

Father, today we just take time to thank You that this program is an extension of who You are.  Through Your Rest Father we give You all the glory and honor, along with, all the praise.

We ask Father that there will be a firmament over this program and under it and that Your Rest and Righteousness will be deposited in all the heart who join in.

Father we just thank You and give You praise in Jesus name.  Amen.  (They all said? Amen.)

Joshua 1

1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the Lord it came to pass, that the Lord spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,

2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan

Moses is dead.  That is so amazing to me.  Moses led the children of Israel to cross the Red Sea with his rod in his hand and the sea split.  Yet, it was Joshua that led the people to cross over the Jordan and did not do it with a rod.  He did it by training the priest how to carry the Ark of the Covenant of God's Rest and Righteousness.  As they carried it on their shoulders Joshua commanded "As you go through the Jordan the priests go out first."

What does this meant to you? Why?

Then, Joshua commanded the people "Keep your eyes on the Ark of the Covenant." Keep your eyes on God's Rest, "Moses is dead.  By his rod he led the people through the Red Sea with no rest.  In fact they traveled in the wilderness for 40 years, but Joshua led the people through the Jordan with the Ark of the Covenant.

What are the two main differences  you see in the Life of Moses and the Life of Joshua on the way they led God's people?

What does this mean to you? Why?

In the Life of  Moses the Ark of the Covenant was kept in a hiding place and the Priests could only enter in once a year.  They could not carry it on their shoulders.  In fact, if they lived a life that was unholy they would die by standing near it because it meant their lives were unholy.

Joshua and his Priests were allowed to touch the Ark of the Covenant and were allowed to carry the Ark of the Covenant.  As well, the people were allowed to see the Ark of the Covenant but in the Life of Moses the people could not have access to God's Rest.

What are other differences you see in the Life of Moses and the Life of Joshua?

Why is this relevant for today?

I think it is powerful that all throughout the Life of Joshua, in the land of Canaan the Promised Land the Priest were allowed to take the Ark of God's Rest and hold it, and go with it; walk with it; carry it; and the people were allowed to keep their eyes on God's Rest on the Ark of the Covenant.

We are living in an age where we have heard a lot about Moses in Modern Day Christianity and yet I believe that message has an opportunity to teach us "Something is missing."  It is not about one person it is not about what the Prophets do or do not say.  It is about God's Heart.  It is about His Rest.  It is about walking with Him.  It is about going with Him.  It is about crossing into a place of His Rest and Righteousness.  As a Nation Joshua was given a message when he went into Canaan, "Drain the Swamp."  Thirty One plus Kings and all their inhabitants possess the land yet it was God's land.  So, it is not about what you fight.  It is not about one Prophet.  It is not about the Red Sea.  It is about God's Rest and Righteousness leading the Way.  When your eyes are fixed on God's Rest, the Ark of the Covenant, in Righteousness He will not only go before you but He will drive everything out that is in your way.

Today, we want to go on a journey where we are going to look into the Life of the Jordan.  I have been sitting on this message for about five weeks and I have been practicing it.  I never give a message that I have not walked myself.  It is interesting to me that Moses is dead and "God tells them to carry the Ark of the Covenant through the Jordan."  Just as He was with Moses He will be with them to split the Jordan and they will be a Nation of His Rest.

We want to pause for just a moment before I get into more of this message as it is very close to my heart on the Ark of the Covenant.  I have been reading every line of the Book of Joshua and I have been praying in tongues every line of the Book of Joshua line by line, and chapter by chapter.

"My Vision of the Ark of the Covenant:
Jesus and the Cross, Jesus in a Heavenly Place
With the Ark of the Covenant and More."

Text Transcription of the "Vision of the Ark of the Covenant."

It is special to me because not long ago I had a vision where I saw Jesus and the Ark of the Covenant.  In my vision I saw Jesus taken down from the cross and two people who brought His body down off the cross and onto the ground.  I saw one at His right arm and one on His left arm.  There, they began to put oil spikenard on His body to prepare Him for the burial.  As they were preparing His body Jesus opened up His eyes and He looked at me and smiled.

As they continued to prepare His body tow more people showed up and one at His right leg, and one on His left leg.  They began to anoint His body with oil and His legs they anointed as well.  As they began to anoint His body with oil and His legs, when they were done they picked up the body of Jesus.  Two people in the front and two people in the back and they carried His body on their shoulders and began to walk in towards the tomb.  I was a dark cave and Jesus turned around a second time and smiled at me. (Doris welcome)  As I saw Jesus being carried by these four people on their shoulders, like this picture, into a place of His burial the tomb, I could see His body no more.

All the sudden I was taken to a heavenly place and there before me, like this picture behind me but it was uncovered, was the Ark of the Covenant.  I stood in front of it and it was gold.  It had a crown of gold and it had two poles just like the picture here.

On the top of it were two living angels whose wings went upward and their faces with their chin downward.  On the Mercy Seat lid, or the Ark of the Covenant life, the Body of Jesus laid.  They took His body into the tomb but He ended up on the Ark of the Covenant lid.

When I noticed that He was there and the angels did not move and their pose they kept their head bowed down looking at Him.  When I knew and I looked up and saw that that I looked at Jesus.  I thought o myself, "Ah! That is how Your Blood was sprinkled on the Mercy Seat."  When I thought that the third time, "Jesus opened His eyes and He looked at me and smiled."

The whole Book of Joshua is about the Priest carrying the Ark of the Covenant, or "God's Rest & Righteousness."  We looked several weeks ago at the Footstool of God, "The Chuppah."  It looked just like this with the Bride in it.  I taught you a little bit about that.  There is a Footstool in heaven that we sit with Christ at the right hand of the Father as our resting place and there is a Footstool in the earth, "The Chuppah" where the Body of Jesus and the Bride are in it.  It is carried on the shoulders of the Priests not the Prophets on the Nations to behold God's Rest in Righteousness.

Moses is dead.  The crossing of the Red Sea is about the death and burial of Jesus and how the children of Israel were protected and the horse and rider were thrown into the sea.  But, the Jordan is about God's Rest and Righteousness and how you live in that Rest with God as a Nation, as a Priesthood, a Holy Nation, a peculiar people, lively stone.  The Holy Temple of God with us through Christ.  When we are born of God the word born means, "An extension of who God is through Christ."

So, when you read the book of Joshua, are your eyes on the Nephilim, or are your eyes on the "Ark?" When you walk in your day, "Are your eyes on what is before you to conquer, or are your eyes on the place of God's Rest and Righteousness?"  Moses is dead.

I believe the Prophets have missed it.  But, there is a Remnant who has not and they are those who understand "The Ark of the Covenant of God's Rest & Righteousness will cover the earth, because the Habitation of God: God the Father, God the Holy Spirit and God the Son, have filled the Temple. Hallelujah!

Joshua 1:2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, though, and all this people unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. (3) Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said to Moses.

We will talk about that a little bit maybe another time because I am not really interested in that right now.  But, I do want to say that God in this chapter we looked at las week told Joshua, "Until THEY know how to walk in My Rest and they inherit what I have given them to inherit then you Joshua--you, can go back and you can enjoy what I have given to you to enjoy."

The Prophet's job is to teach the Nation God's Rest and to teach them how to see with the eyes of their heart.  It is not about antichrist.  It is not about .."I just want to stay positive."  It is like fire shut up in my bones.  But, I will stay on the Life side of His Glory for His honor."

So, take a journey with me and let us go over to Joshua 6.

End of part one.
