In today’s Sunday Live what a wonderful time of worship we had.
The
Holy Spirit was there to release the prophetic song, prophecies and visions
through this part of God’s Loving Family.
Today, Sister Chacko had
visions of a great waterfall coming down from the North along with the foot of
Jesus standing upon the earth. As well,
Sister Val Rowe had vision of Gold appearing with purple in the prophetic
window while Sister Melony released a vision of a dove flying and
landing upon a shoulder of a person with a prophetic word. As the Holy Spirit released each vision into
the treasury of God’s Rest to be deposited more “Concerts of worship” were
released. During this time more visions
appeared as Sisters Anjani received a vision of a Lion standing on a mountain
in the West and more.
Hallelujah! I don’t think there is any part of the Body of
Christ I would rather be than right here.
This is a place where everyone is looking unto Jesus through the
meditation of God’s Word and the Father is giving Light (Righteousness) to see
Jesus. We work hard throughout the week in our daily lives and expectation to
come together in this way is a blessing.

Today, we want to begin a journey in the Book of Romans Chapter 1 and share in the heart of the Apostle Paul in his writings on the topic of God’s Rest & Righteousness. In this document I will share some highlights and insights to help us remember some of the insights the Holy Spirit wanted us to share.
Romans 1:7-8
7 To all that be in Rome, beloved
of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and
the Lord Jesus Christ.
8 First, I thank my God through
Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole
world.
Here in these verses Paul begins to
greet those in whom he is speaking to in the Grace and Peace from God. After his greetings he then shares how the
faith of all present had reached the world.
As you read the unfolding of this
chapter must understand the method of interpreting what is being said. Here, as we begin to hear the heart of Paul
in his writings we must ask ourselves, “What is the context in what is being
said?” As well we must ask ourselves,
“What is the main message that is being conveyed in a few lines or less?” Lastly, while it is important to know the
custom in which the writings are centered around according to that time and the
location we must ask ourselves, “To whom is the chapter speaking to?” As we begin to apply these few thoughts let
us look into what Paul is saying.
**Paul was speaking to a people that their faith had reached the world-yet, a part of the message they were sharing had a missing ingredient, “What was the missing thought?”
Romans 1:9-11
--Paul shares his heart on how
badly he wanted to see them and speak to them a part of the message they were
sharing through the prayers he had prayed unto God.
9 For God is my witness, whom I
serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make
mention of you always in my prayers;
10 Making request, if by any means
now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto
you.
11 For I long to see you, that I
may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;
Here, we learn that Paul wanted to
impart a spiritual gift (What was missing) for the purpose of being
established. As we read the context of
the chapter we must ask ourselves, “What was the gift Paul wanted to
impart?”
While we read the gifts in 2 Cor.
12 this gift that he speaks of is not mentioned in that chapter. At the same time, as we read Ephesians 4 the
gift that he longs to impart is not mentioned in the Five Fold Ministry Gifts
of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher, Administration. Lastly, as we continue to study other gifts
that are found in Romans 12 we learn that this gift that Paul wants to impart
is not mentioned in that chapter.
**The purpose of Paul desiring to
impart this gift was that they would be established. Here, in the Greek the Word established
represents the idea of being fixed, stable, confirmed and more. As you study the root word of being
established you will discover that this word also means to open the eyes of
Spiritual Sight.
Even though Paul was speaking to a
people the blessing of Grace, “The gift he wanted to impart was greater than
the message of Grace. (Verse 5 and 7)
The gift he wanted to impart was greater than the message of obedience
to the faith among all the nations.” (Verse 5 and 8.)
Romans 1:12-15
Paul continues in his message to
those present after he shares his heart of prayers to reach to them the desire
to impart a gift to equip them to be established that he did not want them to
be ignorant of them being established through this gift he wanted to
impart. This thought was so pressing to
him in his heart that he said “I am ready to preach the gospel to you and fruit
among you as well.” (Verse 13.)
Romans 1:16-17
16 For I am not ashamed of the
gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that
believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness
of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by
faith.
It is here that Paul finally states what this gift is that he desires to impart which is the gift of righteousness. This gift of righteousness is the righteousness of God revealed through the gospel of Christ Jesus that reveals the power of God.
The Gift of Righteousness of God
In the illustration I shared what
the Righteousness of God is and “Why Righteousness is greater than the message
of Grace.”
Jesus is the Door: Here, we started
in the center to study the Righteousness of Jesus. In Jesus we died (Romans 6) we arose, and we
have been positioned by Jesus for the Father to complete the lost art of the
final work of the cross.
The Father Enters Through the Door:
Here, from the top left there is a line of dots coming down through the center
Door which is a description of the Father entering through the Door-Life of
Jesus. This call to action of the Father
coming through the Door-Life of Jesus is called Grace. We could not go to God on our own as it is
the Father who came to us. Grace is the
Father coming to us and grace is the supply of God coming to us of His Nature
and Kingdom.
The Father Seeks, The Father Joins,
The Father Rests: Here, as the Father continues to come through the works of the
Righteousness of Christ Jesus, the Father continues to seek those who are
positioned in Christ and find them. As
the Father seeks them and finds them He joins them together with who He is
through Jesus and He Rests. This joining
together of who He is and His Rest is called the “Righteousness of God revealed.” Here, those whom He joins are One. We abide in the Father through Christ
Jesus. At the same time those who are
enjoined in the Father’s Rest are infused with His Life, or born of His
Faith. Hallelujah!
Paul says that “Even though their
faith reached the world they still did not understand the Righteousness of God
revealed. It is the Voice of Rest and
Righteousness of our Heavenly Father that Jesus proclaimed as the Gospel of the
One whom He sent." Here, Paul said “When
you understand the Righteousness of our Heavenly Father’s Rest and Life you
understand that it is the Righteous who live by faith.”
Here, Paul said “The Righteous will
live by faith” which was a vision the Prophet Habakkuk saw in his writings in
chapter two. Here, the Prophet Habakkuk
saw Babylon overtaking nations they did not live in and different diseases
where overtaking the land being infiltrated.
This is where the LORD GOD spoke to the Prophet, “Write the vision and
make it clear though it tarry it shall come to pass.” This vision was the vision of “Righteousness
and Rest of God revealed!”
Hallelujah!
Without the joining together of One
in the Voice of our Heavenly Father’s Rest you cannot be born of our Father’s
Rest and Life. Here, while we did not
know the Father the Father joined Himself to us through the lost art of the
finished works of the cross which is called The Ministry and Word of
Reconciliation. (2 Cor.5)
Here, the Church of Rome
interpreted the Gospel from the outside looking in as their faith had reached
the world. Yet, even in the reaching of
the world in obedience to the faith they lacked how to be established in what
they preached. It is for this reason in
which Paul came to say, “I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ: it is
the power of God, it is the kingdom of God, it is the righteousness and rest of
God revealed.”
