The Gift of Righteousness Righteousness is Sown First in Order to Walk in Faith

The Gift of Righteousness Abraham Believes and Righteousness is Given to Him

God will never give you a promise to stand on "By blind faith, or faith without knowing or understanding how to accomplish His will." For that reason "God will always establish a disciple in His Rest first so that a disciple can be joined as One in the Faith of God." You have been positioned with no impossibilities with God because of His Rest and Righteousness. In today's time together we take a closer look at these discipleship thoughts for you to walk in God's Rest and Righteousness. Thank you for following this blog, too.
Abraham had that same experience in his life as we read in Genesis 15:6, "Abraham believed in the Lord and it was accounted unto him for righteousness."  Here, Abraham was not living what we call blind faith to believe without seeing.  Here, in the verse one of this chapter, "The word of the Lord came to Abraham in a vision, first."

Here we learn a dynamic of faith that is rare and true.  "Righteousness established Abraham first in order to have faith."  Here, we read, "The word of the Lord came to Abraham."  This is very important because "Righteousness establishes Abraham in the promises the Father spoke to him in order that Abraham would be comforted in his heart to believe." That is why faith is never enough unless faith is an overflow of the Holy Spirit establishing a disciple in Righteousness first.

So many times in my life I have said in my heart, "I stand on faith alone" yet I realized when I tried to live the life of faith alone I was never established in God's Rest.  Faith alone cannot establish anyone in God and will always fail.  That was the hardest concept for me to learn because this concept went against everything I believed in, and lived for.  Unless a disciple experiences the deposit of Righteousness first there is no position of God's Rest in their hearts to have a resting faith in what you are believing for. The word of the Lord came to Abraham in a vision saying, "Do not be afraid, Abraham.  I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward." Abraham had just experienced great victory in overcoming five kings in the land that were unholy and he was afraid in his heart that they would come against him because they were defeated.  Here, God said to Abraham, "Don't be afraid I am your Shield and great reward."  Here, God used His Rest and Righteousness to comfort Abraham so that he would have faith. For that reason "God's Rest and Righteousness establishes Abraham first so that Abraham's faith would be comforted.

If Abraham would receive such great reward of God's Rest and Righteousness to be counted towards him before the cross, "How much more should God's Rest and Righteousness be to every disciple after the cross?"  Before the cross "Rest and Righteousness was given in order to establish Abraham to be One with God and His Covenant." Now that the cross has come to pass and is finished "Every disciple is born of God's Rest and Righteousness and for that reason the word faith in the Greek means--to be joined as One." The secret to the faith of Abraham to re-route kingdoms and believe against all circumstance in his life is the ability to "Rest in God's Righteousness first in order to be one and his faith was positioned to be weaved into what God sowed in Rest and Righteousness."

God spoke to Abraham first in order for "Abraham to believe in the Lord and it was accounted unto him for righteousness."  God will always join Himself as One in His Rest first in the heart of a person so that their faith will be One in God's Rest.   That is good news!  God's Rest and Righteousness is His deposit or down payment that will cause a disciple to believe because God's Rest and Righteousness has an expression of being One.

Maybe this simple Scripture is often viewed from the outside looking in rather than from the position of God's Rest and Righteousness first because "It is the first time in the Bible that righteousness is used in the Bible." And like Abraham, "Many interpret the Bible from Abraham's point of view in learning God's Rest in faith" because Abraham was not yet established in God's Blood Covenant of Rest and Righteousness. This passage shows two types of faith, "Faith that is not revealed through God's Rest" and "Faith that is born of God's Rest."  Abraham learned that God's Rest would cause him to not be weak in being One in faith as we learn from his life that at a 100 years old he did not consider his own body to remain in the promise of God for children of inheritance.  Today, you are I are result of God's Rest and Righteousness in his life.

May God continue to "Feed the doubt of a young disciple with His Rest and Righteousness until a disciple understands how to be established in God's Rest so that faith can move mountains in every situation in their lives."  Hallelujah!

In the life of a disciple today God has established us in His Blood Covenant which promises us that God will do what He said He will do through His Word.  A disciple is now born again through Blood Covenant making the disciple to be positioned in God's Rest and Righteousness in all things.  As we wait for the promise of God's Word to come to pass, we learn to Rest as One with God because God desires friendship and during that friendship He will see to it that what He said He will do. Amen.

Father, today I give thanks that You have established Your Covenant with me of Your Rest and Righteousness through the Blood of Jesus by Your Spirit.  I acknowledge in my heart You have joined me as One with You through the finished works of the cross of Jesus Christ.  I choose Your Rest and Righteousness that I might be established in Your Covenant because I am now born of Your Faith.  In Jesus name. Amen.
